Itunes: DRM Free!

As you probably know already Itunes has announced that they’re making their entire library DRM free. I believe it’s going to be 8 million songs on the first wave and then by the end of the quarter the full 10 million. A new pricing structure has also been mentioned and a fee, if you so choose, for updating your entire library for all of your previous song purchases. This is very good news for all and I’m glad that Apple and the major record companies worked something out.  This is probably my main complaint about Itunes and now everything is peachy keen. Itunes 8: New Release

Today Apple released Itunes 8 for free download. I didn’t get a solid chance to fool around with it yet, but It seems interesting enough. The new features include recommended playlists through the new application called Genius, a new viewing option called grid and some HD features.
