Shake the Disease – One of the many popular songs off of Depeche Mode’s album Catching up with Depeche Mode. It’s a great song and it also made a great cover. In 1998, For The Masses: An Album of Depeche Mode Songs was released with various bands remaking DM’s songs. One of the most noticeable covers was from Hooverphonic. Their version of Shake the Disease was one of my favorites off the album. Hooverphonic took a great song and put their signature triphop / electronic spin on it.
